No happiness from fur?

Hi, I'm playing with the last version from the launcher (not svn) and I have noticed that fur doesn't give happiness after I have built a camp and a road. The fur is listed on the resource list on the city pannel but there's nothing.
Is it intended?

Fur is coded to not give happiness, and I think it is intended. I checked all the way back to Rise of Mankind v2.91 (which I think pre-dates A New Dawn) and Fur did not generate Happiness there either. Gold, Ivory, and Silver do not generate happiness on their own either in A New Dawn. These resources do have other uses so it is not completely useless to go after them, but maybe Fur doesn't do enough? I was considering having it unlock the Weaver. Right now Sheep is the only resource that can unlock the Weaver until Calendar.
