No Recognition? (Hall of Fame)

Apparently, Civ3 doesent want to recognize me for finishing up my 20k OCC game or my Spaceship Launch. I get all the screens like the Barbarian with the Hammer one and the Replay one, and the winning one (where the AI are muttering angry comments at you), but I dont get the Hall of Fame one. And then, when I go to the Hall of Fame, it's not there.

Is there something wrong with my Hall of Fame maybe?

If you play a mod the scores dont go in your HoF.

It's not a mod. It's a random map.

Maybe it's because I changed some thing in the conquests file?

Yup. Even one minor rule change is enough to discount a HoF entry.

So, if I change it back to the original, it'll still be changed wont it?

If you load a .biq with the standard rules you should be okay. Just create a scenario in the editor without any rule changes, and you should be okay.

Call that conquests and then replace the bad one with that one?

Unless you actually made changes to the conquests.biq (which is not as easy to do as it was with Vanilla) then you should be okay if you start a new game. If, however, you managed to change the conquests.biq, then yes, do that.

I did change it, the annoying part is that everytime you want to change something, you have to take off the Read-Only check mark.

I have a different problem with no recognition. I've been trying to play the Conquests part of Civ3Complete Edition. I've beaten the first conquest (Mesopotamia?) and have gone onto the second one as Rome, which I still haven't won. BUT, as I've gone back to the HOF, it doesn't show my first win.

So I went back and beat it again, using a different tribe (first Egypt, the Hittites). Still no recognition. I DID notice that as the Victory screens were going by that the one showing the last frame of the game (it has a dialog box asking if you want to stop or play a couple of more turns) just flashed and dissappeared, showing no dialog box. Then it went on to the Top 5 Cities/Demgraphics screen, then the Victory screen. Went I try to "X" out of the Victory screen, I get an error message saying Civ3 Conquests has had a problem and needs to close. I have done this repeatedly with the save and always get the same result.

I called Take Two Tech Support and they suggested a group of quick fixes for memory usage (the normal stuff) and adjusted my virtual memory. None of this has worked, nothing has changed. They have promised now twice to send an email with more suggestions (this has been going on for 3 days with them), but I have never received one email.
Typical Tech Support.
Have any of our experts ever heard of this Victory Screen sequence problem before? If so, do you have anythin that works. Obviously Take Two doesn't.
