Is the Hall of Fame down long term?

Hi,

reiterating my hope that the mods are all doing OK. Health and happiness are of the foremost importance.

As for the Civ 5 Hall of Fame, it has been down for about a week now. Inaccessible. Just posting here in hopes someone knows something about the situation.

OK, I finally found a link on the main site home page which led me to a post about migration to a new webhosting service.

The current migration affects everything else what is on the server too, which includes HOF, GOTM, Polycast, Modcast, the Modiki, The Scenario League, the sites of Rhyse&Fall, Fall From Heaven 2, and a range of legacy modding files which are hosted on the server and not on the forum.

Noble Zarkon is slowly but surely getting the Civ 4 Hall of Fame database back online. Here's hoping Civ 5 will be following at some point.

You may have have heard that the Civ IV GOTM site will soon be restored (hopefully!) thanks to excellent work by @DynamicSpirit, I can confirm that work is ongoing for the Hall of Fame and is progressing well. We are updating the code to address various issues including security and performance and to bring the site up to modern standards so it will take a bit longer but should be well worth it. The Civ IV HOF site will be the first to be restored but we are hopeful that Civ III and Civ V will follow shortly thereafter.
