why are we not allowed to search the forums? I mean why even have a search button if you can't use it?

I'm trying to find some of Ision's great post about various civs and I can't search:confused:

any help?

before it gets moved to Site Feedback..

It is switched off because it slows down the forums...

Moderator Action: Moved to Site Feedback.

Better to have no search than to have no access to CFC at all... ;)

It slows down the forums to much and cause's some problems.

Yeah, TF used to have the search on during the weekends.

Maybe when V 3.0 comes out well get the search back :mischief:

well at least can someone link me to Ision's posts about America, Babylon, or Persia?

Mods, sorry for being in the wrong forum...

I think the words should glow and blast the screen of your comp when you try to search! :nya:

I never used the search even when it was on, IMHO it is quite useless, you just have to check the forum frequently enough to keep up on where people are posting...

The only person who can't search is you, the reason being that Thunderfall hates you. :)

I still think that needs to be a smiley. You should see my posts in the WOTW thread. On average there are a lot of tags that I use in my posts (IMG, B, then I have to get rid of the Quote tag) and using the smiley with the IMG tag only serves to make it more confusing :crazyeye: .

I went to this forum to post the same question. As a new CFC member, this is the only thing about the site that I find a little disappointing. Of course I've seen the War Academy and the FAQs, but there must be lots of wisdom hidden in the forums. I've tried three searches at different times, but search was always disabled.
