No text on Civ4 Demo

Hi.

I've installed the civ4 Demo with no problems but when i launch the demo, there's no text at all. No text in the options neither in the game's main screen. Anyone has the same problem? Anyone knows what i can do to solve this problem?

CPU is fine, the Trident CyberALADDiN-P4 is the problem - wise move checking the demo and posting here before buying .....

That is a low power Integrated Graphics Chipset - ie no dedicated graphics card in the beastie. The chipset works by taking 32Mb of RAM from main memory (hence only 480 available out of 512Mb. That in itself brings main memory below spec - Civ IV / XP needs 512Mb.

Bottom line is that due to no graphics card (and only 32 Mb processed at one time in the chipset anyway) Civ IV will not run on that beastie.

I dont know the A25, so dont know if a card can be fitted, if it can, speak to the manufacturer of the beastie to ensure any proposed card will not cause heating issues in the case.
