no units !

Need Help !

I bought Civ IV complete three weeks ago and after havin g enjoyed playing the game fpr about ten days I now have a technical problem and no idea how to solve it: BY LOADING A GAME ( NEW OR SAVED) THE UNITS ARE INVISIBLE ! I have a new pc ( 4 weeks old) and compability is not the problem. I tried so solve the problem by trying to uninstall the software but it didn`t help

ok so there's this button above the map which allows you to turn unit visibility on and off If Im Not Wrong
