I`m glad to see I`m not the last one on earth playing Civ I. It has an own flair and atmosphere with the sweet little units and the whole graphic. Think it will never be forgotten. It`s a classic and according to the amount of posters here in this forum people will always love to play it.

I would say that new posters here is evidence that Civ 1 is still a great game.. but that's kind of obvious. ;D

Well than it's time to bring life back to this forum Nonetheless Civ is, was and ever will be a great game with a high addictive factor and yes all these new guys (including me ) shall be proof enough that Civ will be a "must have" forever.

And Irish Caesar you're right all in life is just a matter of viewpoint

Civ1 is excellent! No matter how good other games are, civ1 can never get any worse, just better. This is a great forum dedicated to a great game, one of a series of great games.
