Hi there,

Im new to the game but feel i might have hit a bug. I have improved a hill tile which has silver and am currently working it with a citizen. However when i open a trade window with another city, the silver does not show in my list of luxury resources!? So as it stands, i cant trade my silver! :( My economic overview tab shows that i definately have the silver. Am i overlooking something?

Hi espeed.

If the civilization that you are talking with already has that resource, it won't appear in the window. You only get the chance to trade away resources that they don't already have. Similarly, if you have a resource then you won't see that resource on their side since you don't need it.

I assume that this is a feature, although I don't like it much. It means I can't easily trade for three spare dye (for example) from a small insular civ that hasn't met many others yet and then on-sell them. Oh well...

Unfortunately there's not a great way to check if they do indeed have silver. Even if you can see all of their territory then it may be that another civ (or city state) is trading it to them.

Hope this helps.
