Nuclear Stratedgy

You know, your wording was a lot better. Excuse my previously arrogant comment.

Try this with nukes: Declare war- Wait for the enemy to mass troops for invasion- nuke them and use units to finish them off.

1. Nukeing strategic reasources can be far more effective then hitting cities.

2. Use fighters to recon for nukes.

3. Try to hit workers with the intended target in order to slow repairs. (it does kill them}

The troop invasion nuking is GREAT; you just have to accept the terrain changing. I did that once - lots of enemy units, so I just nuked them. That was in my territory and the pollution sat there for quite a while until I was able to safely move my workers back.

Eh, resource nuking. I spent 350-500 shields; I'd rather nuke a city to get my shields' worth.

Yup, workes get automatically killed in a nuke. I think because they're defenseless.

Heh I have this cazy kind of obsession with nukes, when ever I get them I look for the slightest excuse to use em. If the AI doesn't give me one I'll make one, I find leaving troops on thier soil does the trick quite nicly :)

Quick story, one game England DEMANDED a world map for me (the nerve) so, I gave them somthing else, MY ENTIRE NUCLEAR ARSENAL :) 41 nukes in all I hate every one of their cities (thier Capital four times) needless to say after the war ended they didn't mess with me too much :)

i play high amounts of players...since i often isolate myself i don't destroy many enemies in the beginning...but onbce u nuke one enemy..u gotta nuke em all for they will declare war on u

Also communism is the best governmet for nukelear warfare.
This is due to the fact that the ai always nukes your core cites. Thus standard corruption allows cities far from the core to keep up production.

Mysteriously, the AI shot a nuke straight at a city I just captured. That was a city I just nuked and took over; and they tried to nuke it again. Luckily my SDI stopped the missile :) and about six others that the Indians tried to launch.
