odd event--anyone else have this?

Greetings all:

I was in the midst of a huge continent map game, playing as good ol' Abe when I got my first great scientific leader. Joy! I put Einstein to sleep for future use as I was in the midst of a GA. The next scientific advance produced ANOTHER scientific leader, Edison, who I then promptly put to sleep for future use.

Now, I've never had this happen in all my years of playing Civ III vanilla or conquests. Anyone else ever have such an event, or should I just be happy for my good luck?

I have not had two scientific leaders at the same time, but I have had two military leaders at the same time. Against that, I have played a bit with the editor of the Windows version and then run the scenarios on my Mac laptop. Therefore I cannot say that I have had this happen in a standard game.

Yes, I once had a game where I had 3 SGL saved for future use. Though none from 2 tech in a row. There was some space between.

But some people can be even luckier:
I remember someone claiming to have received 2 SGL in the same turn, one for philosophy, and one for republic. Can't find the thread anymore though.

Update from earlier, I was playing the other day as the Dutch, and received two SGL during the Ancient Age, and held them both for future use. Evidently, you can get more than one SGL at a time, at least on the Macs. Does not seem to work for Windows versions though.
