Odd problem

My Friend recently got complete version however when he runs it it doesn't work.
It loads up normally but as soon as it gets to what would be the 2k logo e.c.t. the screen flashes between white, black and the primary colours vertically across the screen. When this happens he cannot minimise the window and Ctrl Alt Del won't work so he has to shut down windows then try and catch it from shutting down properly.
Any idea what is wrong? Could it be to do with the screen as it is a touch screen?

In my experience, that kind of flashing of random colours might mean the graphics card is liekly to die. Does the problem occur in any other games at all?

I can't see that the touch screen would make much difference, but it might be worth making sure the screen driver (and the graphics card drivers for that matter) are as up-to-date as they can be just in case.

But I will say that every single time without exception that I've had graphical corruption in a game, it's been the graphics card about to die.

I don't have a lot of luck with graphics cards and they always seem to go just after the warranty runs out, and the last three or four with this exact type of problem.
