Old Dude: Crashing on turn 60

Help! I can't get to turn 60. I consistently freeze up between turn 59 and 60 and I have to reboot the system. I'm well over the recommended system except I'm running Windows XP SP3. I'm wondering - have I got a demo version here? I paid full price!

Is it with every game you can't get to turn 60? Or just a saved game you have? I have had a game that no matter what I did the game would freeze and I couldn't get to the next turn. I just started a new game and it works fine. Post a save at the bug forum and maybe someone else can take a look.

Try switching to strategic mode for that turn, it has worked for me.
