Ol'lady's first game

Alright - so I got my wife hooked on CivIII. She used to roll her eyes at me when I played, now I can't get her off the computer.

Her first real game on Chieftan, she won but the first time she used nukes, she nuked herself by accident:

Why are all the terrain improvements still intact around the city yet no workers are in sight/working on the pollution?

Yeah - she built the Knights Templar and I'd show her what to do with units like crusaiders, building forts and stuff. So she built them everywhere.



That's ok - she's learning. I let her play for a while and check on her to give her tips. Told her to use the Civilopedia often, but I don't think she does. She traded for free artistry after the AI built Shaky's theater, built the great library when she's eons ahead in techs (she's still playing cheiftan).

I didn't even know it was possible to nuke oneself. I suppose, when I think about it it is, but it never even occurred to me.
