Omega or standard drivers for patch 1.09 with Nvidia Geforce4

When I first got the game I had the black screen problem so I tried roling back the driver to a date closer to the time the game was being developed. So I installed an older Omega driver and the black screen problem went.

But with this new patch they have fixed the black screen problem for most cards so I was thinking would the game run better with the latest standard nvidia driver from the nvidia website rather than the omega or should I leave things how they are.

I'm running the absolute latest drivers. I'm also running with a GeForce 7800 GTX card on Windows 64, don't know if that matters. But a ton of my problems went away when I updated my cards to the latest *released* drivers.

BTW: finding released drivers on Windows 64 is a huge PITA
