One City Challenge Club (OCCC): Genghis Khan

Immortal/Normal 2 losses

Spoiler :

First attempt I was well on my way to a space victory when Han took Delhi and the AP and promptly voted himself a cheesy AP victory.

Second attempt, clear tech leader again and well on my way to the internet. When Ghandi had his revenge and vassaled Hannibal (Louis earlier) and won a domination victory. You don't see that very often. :)

Plus side I managed to do the CS slingshot both times. Negative side this area is not a great site for an OCC, its lack of food and to many sea tiles. Fine for an early rush game though. :)

Perhaps third time lucky. :)

Conquest 775 AD

Spoiler :
I stopped building Keshiks to build a libary, theatre and the globe. I shouldn't have bothered. Other then while building the globe, my population never rose above 5. Whip, whip, whip, whip.

Pretty easy map

I probably failed at my first try:

Spoiler :

I must have not been fast or aggressive enough. I took out Gandhi and Louis easily, but I ran out of steam after burning Washington. I made some raids into America and Carthage to raze some newly founded cities as I regrouped, but then I saw Roosevelt had war elephants so I quit. I'll be making a second try at this, starting with a chariot rush of India.

1300 BC

Spoiler :

3 chariots for ghandi, 3 more added for roosevelt, only lost one so I used that group to go after hannibal planning on just clipping his wings but ended up destroying him as well, and a few chariots and the only 2 keshik I built took out louis before my chariots in hannibal's former territory returned.

Build order: worker, barracks, chariots, one warrior, chariots, ger, chariots, 2 keshik
Research order(from what I remember): AH-Fishing(didn't bother building a boat)-Mining-Agriculture(why did I do that?)-Horseback-BW until I realized I needed archery for keshiks-Archery-the rest of BW-IW(unfinished)
Glad to hear the level is being raised, this was too easy(but fun)

This map should be winnable prior to 1000AD up to Immortal . Low commerce capital, Oracle to HBR and chop all the trees you see for non-stop Keshiks. Get IW next to see AI's Iron, then Monarchy for HR if needed. Will have plenty of cash from city plunders.

use captured workers to pave the road leading to all AIs.

Pillage Metals, cottages, skip the well defended hill cities and kill the largest cities first. Make sure dont allow any civ get too strong or teching to Feudalism.

Only need 2 settled GGs to train 3 promotion mounted units. when finishing the last strong holds can even mass Flank2/Combat1 chariots alone with combat/shock Keshiks.

Ridiculously easy on Noble; I took this as more of a challenge to see how fast I could win. My build order was Worker-Workboat-Warrior(garrison)-Chariot-Chariot-Chariot...

Didn't even bother with barracks, because I figured that any delay would just mean running into more archers. I made it to HBR but didn't get a Keshik built before a 1800 BC conquest victory after 19 minutes.
