Why not having a tile/hexe with in the same place :
1 Iron + 3 Coal + 2 Uranium ?
Gold mixed with Silver ?

IRL : extraction zones are often mixed...

Discovered it recently...

Astounding isn't it ?

:goodjob:

This is a bottle in the ocean...

It's a wonderful idea :)

Maybe also interesting if you could see the different resources on the tile but were forced to choose only one to gain access to? Because mines/plantations/whatever would take up the whole area of the land...or at least until later more efficient tech became available...

Hmm just thinking about RL, "extracting" living resources can disrupt ecosystems, so e.g. you might catch fish and find the whales in the same area would die. Or they might thrive more I suppose due to more plankton from fewer fish - no idea how that one would work

Great Idea. Yes you could have a choice of improvement if you have for instance coal and horses on the same tile.

This derivative as possibility to prefer one resource over a second or a third one is really interesting...

Yes, two or more ressources on same tile/hexe should be less efficient than a single resource...
