Online sign-in

I've recently bought BTS, and I've tried to get into an online game for the first time. I have a GameSpy account already, and I've tried to sign in both via Civ 4 and via GameSpy, with no luck.

Am I missing something?

Have you tried creating a new gamespy account from inside Civ4? I have never gotten it working with my Gamespy account, either, so I have a different one just for Civ.

Tried it this evening, and as usual, the game just hung.
