How many people play this game online? I'm curious about this.

approximatively 50 000 people play this game online in peak daytime(connected to Steam). If approximatively 5 to 10% of players play multiplayer game i suspect that more or less 4000 players do play mp games on a regular basis.

Yes unfortunately Steam doesn't track actually MP usage just how many players are in online mode and playing the game.
