When using some mods, all I can see is the main viewer. There is no minimap to amount of money I have. I believe that some of these "bad" mods would be good, but without any great people, upgrades (technological and battle) for units, and general commands the mod is just not good.

One example would be the revolution mod. I would love to play it but it is no fun without a civics menu. Pyramid stinks because of this. Need user bars.

Also nothing opens up using the F# keys.

Possible reasons:
- civ cache (try clearing it)
- version mismatch between civ and mod (patch civ to 1.61, download mods compatible with 1.61)
- some mod was badly installed (uninstall civ, manually delete all civ folder, reinstall, repatch, get fresh mods)

Thanks, seems that uninstalling it and reapplying the patches in order works.
