Only problem so far is the computer restarts itself...

... when I got to Middle Ages. Played intro movies, in-game movies and everything else fine. No lag.

System is:

AMD Duron 1.3 Ghz
256 MB RAM
GeForce 64 MB

What should I upgrade? Should I try a few tricks first? What would you recommend to prevent that restarting again. Thanks.

You could be overheating on the restart problem. I would have to actually see it to understand your problem more.

As for an upgrade....Ram would be my first choice. 512Mb as a bare minimum. 1Gb would be optimal for your system.

Your processor is a little weak too. Durons like Celerons do not have a decent cache...that is their weakness. However, instead of upgrading that I would build or buy a new system first. Depending on your motherboard you probably could upgrade the processor...but why waste the cash on that. The motherboard is older tech. (Bus speed, etc.) I would only upgrade that if you know what you are doing and if the next processor chip was real cheap.
