Welcome to the Japanese empire!
It's 1625AD and, so far, you've had the following [unprovoked] wars:
Ancient (vs China): Won (decisive)
Medieval (vs India): Won (marginal)
Medieval (vs China): Won (eliminated China).
Other nations have also been eliminated:
-- Romans wiped out by the Zulus
-- Greeks wiped out by the Russians
Currently, Japan has a soon-to-expire mutual defense pact with Persia and France intended to contain India. As a result, India attacked Russia instead of Japan.
Japan is pursuing agressive colonization/culture strategy that is converting the few Zulu cities in the Indonesian/Australian area to become Japanese. This strategy has also worked well to convert a couple of French and Egyptian cities to become Japanese on the Western Chinese frontier.
The Ironworks wonder was just completed in Tsientsen, China and after the factory is built in that city, it will be pumping out infantry every other turn to strengthen the armed forces.
Once the Forbidden City is completed in Sydney, Australia, corruption within the empire should go way down.
