PS5 Open Borders breaks when you reject an Alliance

I had Open Borders with Ibn for 2 Turns. He asked for an alliance but was Hostile to Rizal so I rejected. This caused my coastal embarked Army Commander to be kicked out of his borders into an open ocean tile and unable to re-enter his borders.

Happened to me too (after Patch 1.1.0 on Windows).
I should at least be able to ask for a reopening of the border - I can't because the border agreement is still ongoing according to the game (but borders are closed). Didn't even end an alliance with Isabella, just refused to enter it.
Not the end of the world, but confusing.
