OpenFX help

Help!! no matter how much i try, i can't get the modeler/ animator OpenFX to install right so i can make units. When i click open when it asks me what i want to do, if i click open, nothing happens. When I click save, however, it save's it, but when i try to install it it gives me this error message:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32/AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

and then there are 2 choices, close and ignore, and no matter what i hit, it exits out. Any Ideas?

O yeah i have A windows xp if that makes any difference

Maybe Blender will work right.

There is a unit setup and tutorial on how to get started in my signature.

Your machine would need a graphics card.... optimally NVidia, but it works with others as well.

I never ran into the problem when I was using Open FX, so sorry, can't help..... Blender has a lively forum for issues such as these, one of the disadvantages to OpenFX is it has no or little forum support.

I've never had that problem but I remember that the small version download was damaged (it had files missing and would not install for me ... not sure if that was fixed). However, the large version download always worked for me
