Organize LAN Games

OK - I've tried this before but since it's been a while.

CivFanatics! We have organized games of all different types except one. Direct MultiPlayer LAN types - more along the lines of how FPS games organize. I'm throwing this out to see if anyone would be interested in this type of game. I'm picturing long weekend Civathon type games or more organized games with succesful players graduating up levels with an ultimate champion.

I'm in the Atlanta area so right now I'm just looking for others in the area or willing to drive for regular LAN gmes. I can provide location and networking equipment but players would need their own PCs. Also, anyone who might be willing to do the same in other cities.

I can't believe there aren't any Fanatics out there who would love some LAN playing Civ madness!

Just imagine the scene. A room full of HUMAN opponents for you to try your best strategies with. Pizza and beer all around!

Maybe my location is bad? Pehaps someone else could suggest a better city. I'd be willing to travel some.
