Where can I download the original exe file?

Okay so here's the story....
I have civ 4 up to beyond the sword. However when I let my friend borrow my original civ 4 disks for the retail game, he never gave them back. I found a no cd crack and it was working fine but now when I'm trying to play a ladder game in beyond the sword or any game online for that matter, its says I have modified game files, *MOD* shows up next to my name, and everyone thinks I'm hacking. So I tryed re-installing BTS and Warlords but the problem still persists, which leads me to believe that the no cd crack for the original game is the problem. I have now deleted the crack but I still have the problem, I think if I can download the original Civ4 exe from somewhere then I should be good. Any suggestions or advice anyone can give me? Is there a place where I can find the original civ4 exe file???

I saw this posted on the 2K forum and expereienced a similar problem. I recently purchased Civ 4 GOTY edition. My disk drive stopped working so my roommate installed a "crack" file which didn't work. So I went and got the drive fixed, but now it won't let me reinstall the original Civilizatin4.exe file from the original disks. When I insert disk1 it only gives me the options of PLAY, README, or EXIT. When I try to uninstall the game fom the windowsVista control panel it gives an error message and advises me to contact Firaxis.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
