I'm definitely going to play this to the death. Though I will be on vacation for two weeks soon, by the time I come back I'll probaby have written a few chapters during boredom.

Oh crap.

Since I lost my Civ III disk i don't think this will ever continue until Civ IV comes out

Um...can't you buy a new Civ 3 disc? You can still use your old saves, right?

My old saves I'm not sure I can recover (The computer is out of use, and we're still trying to get files out of it since it crashed. They're still there...but...)

And if I try to buy a new Civ3 Disk, my parents will probably yell at me...

I have my Conquests Disk, just not my vanilla disk. But I'm on a new computer now, so I need to reinstall everything.

Okay, so, I re-bought Civ for $10 or so, so now I can start this again!
Unfortunately, this save file is still unrecoverable. And I think that OotR II isn't all that good.
So, prepare for Out of the Rubble III - The [insert civ] Empire!

Alright, you've done Byzantines and Carthage, so now you should do Romans!

I'm actually thinking of China or Persia. But...I'm still kind of undecided.
However, the Romans have already been done by Vanadorn and Zeeterus

I swear, the people who made Civ 4 must have stumbled upon my thread, because they borrowed so many of me & symphony D's ideas.

Yes. And many Civ4 story makers are using and building on many of your ideas (or so they should be. I didn't, I just found this AWESOME thread 2 days ago). I weep. The Byzantines were my favorite civ in Civ3 and I loved this story so much. This should become a Legendary Story, so it can provide inspiration to all story makers for all time!

What happened? We know you couldn't finish the game, but you said you had two more chapters ready to write.... Did the Byzantines defeat the Koreans? Did they fight anyone else? Was the outlook sunny or stormy?

That was before I decided what civ to use. Anyway, OotRIII is out.

But I doubt it'll go far, because i'm hooked onto Civ4 now
