Civ 4 Addict
Ok this is sort of an out of the blue question that has been plaguing me for quite some time now.
As those who have played Civ 3 are aware, Civ 3 had a neat feature where you could build your palace. It would start out as a cave and you could add parts to it intermittantly throughout the course of a game. There were various themes available from European-style to Asian Style.
Suffice it to say, during the course of making my mod for Civ 4, I came across one XML file which has to do with throne rooms.
Now the questions I have are: What are Throne Rooms in Civ4? Why aren't they currently in the game? Are they going to be added with the expansion pack? And are they going to operate similarly to the palaces in Civ3?
It would seem as the most likely case is that they are like palaces and you'll be able to upgrade them just as you could with your palace in Civ3. However, if they are being implemented with the expansion pack, why is there no info about it. I have yet to find any referrence to this.
I am hoping that someone may have more info about this, which is my reasoning for making this topic.
Any answers are welcome.
