Civilization: Mexican Revolution
Leader: Pancho Villa
Trait: Division of the North (all mounted units gain an extra attack per turn)
Description:
Has a couple civ-specific units (like the Bandito and Dorado), several replacement buildings (Adobe Fort, Military Colony, War Council, etc.), and adds a few unique elements like the Bullfighting Ring (must have access to cattle!) or Great Commander. Also introduces two new Specialists (Advisor and Curator) who have different contributions and can be assigned to special buildings to produce two civ-specific Great Persons.
Contains many new icons, lots of new and researched Civilopedia entries, and I've played it repeatedly to check for problems and balanced gameplay (although I'm sure someone will find something that needs to be tweaked
) Don't have any new animations yet; I'm still learning about that.
By the way, there's a text file included with the mod that contains more details, notes on historical accuracy, and some hints on using the new units and buildings.
Personal note: This was my first mod using XML files (so please be kind
), and as I kept discovering new things that I could change my project got more and more ambitious (there are still things I want to add), but after a month of working on it I decided I better go ahead and upload it or I would never stop! Especially considering that the project kept getting more involved and complicated and I didn't have any feedback on it yet.
