Panzar/Bismarck

I'm afraid I haven't spent much time on this game. The one vs. Bash has had almost all of my focus, only have one chessboard. I'm sorry about that. (Unless, of course, you're only interested in winning in which case it's a good thing. :))

11. c4 Nc6
12. Qc3 Be4
13. Bg5

It's no problem. If you have only one board, though, may I suggest you consider using a program such as WinBoard? It makes it easy to save numerous positions and refer back to them. It's free.

I always prefer a good game to an easy game, but if your time is limited, I can understand your focusing on one game

11. c4 Nc6
12. Qc3 Be4
13. Bg5 0-0
14. Bxf6

I do have Winboard, but I seem to think much better at a real board.

11. c4 Nc6
12. Qc3 Be4
13. Bg5 0-0
14. Bxf6 Qxf6

Yeah, I analyze better with a real board too, but sometimes I just get too lazy and use an electronic one instead

I assume you take my Queen, so next move Nh4. If so:

11. c4 Nc6
12. Qc3 Be4
13. Bg5 0-0
14. Bxf6 Qxf6
15. Qxf6, (gxf6)
16. (Nh4)

11. c4 Nc6
12. Qc3 Be4
13. Bg5 0-0
14. Bxf6 Qxf6
15. Qxf6 gxf6
16. Nh4 Bxg2 (if 17. Nxg2, 17...Rac8)

I have heard of funny things happening with "if... then..." in correspondence play, such as the case of one guy who stated that he'd reply to any opening moves with ...g6 and ...Bg7. The other guy played 1. d4 and 2. Bh6.

11. c4 Nc6
12. Qc3 Be4
13. Bg5 0-0
14. Bxf6 Qxf6
15. Qxf6 gxf6
16. Nh4 Bxg2
17. resigns

I'm clearly way behind and I probably spent less than half an hour thinking about this game. (Compared to more than 100 hours on the Bash game.) At this time I can't motivate myself to spend enough time looking for some sort of salvation that's most likely not there. And I'm not good enough to make decent moves without thinking a lot.

It sounds like you didn't enjoy the game that much - sorry about that.

Good luck with the Bash game. It must be quite a game if you've spent 100 hours on it!

Nice of you to post, Bash... but you seem to have edited out ALL content. :)

Well, no, of course I did not enjoy this game. I played terribly badly and I apologize for that.

And yes, I think I did okay in the Bash game, although he still beat me comfortably.
