patch 1.09 problem installing

i've just downloaded the patch and it gives me a 106 error telling my game is not valid ???
does anyelse as the same problem ?
any idea what's going on ?

Had you installed the v108 patch? If so, try a fresh install (it is possible that the v109 patch was designed to work from a fresh v100 install).

I had to make a fresh install anyways. I think some of the calls to the cache were changed because I couldn't load saved games after I updated to 1.09 originaly. Which suggest maybe the same thing for the way it can tell if the installation is valid or not was changed too.

Apparently the save version is now changed, so that might explain why old saves can't be loaded.

Hmm, I have no problems loading my old saves...can't really say how they play through yet though...give me some time

On Edit: @Orane75. Are you using the D2D downloaded version, not the box version? If so, the patch will not work on it.

I am using the D2D version what patch will work on it then... this is rediculous
