Patch-problem with Seven Kingdoms 2

I'm a great fan of that game, but I have trouble with patching it to the latest version since I can think.

The version I have on CD is 1.10 and there is no trouble to get it to 1.12. However, then the troubles start - at some sources there is a patch to 1.20 mentioned, but it seems that this has never been released.Instead the latest version is probably a beta patch (v1.19), which is even available in support section of the Ubisoft homepage.I downloaded that one, but when ever I try to install it I get an error:

"Error opening file RESOURCE\A_WAVE2.RES"

I downloaded it a second time, because I thought of an corrupted download, but I still get the error.Sadly, I cannot found another source for that download in case the uploaded file is broken.So my question is if someone knows a way to patch SK2 beyond 1.12?

(Note: I also had a hard time finding this at first. That's because I only used Google as my search engine. I would recommend metasearch engines when trying to find files or information like this. The search engines Dogpile and Metacrawler have been helpful in this case.)

The 1.20 update does not really 'patch' anything. It contains an updated version of the 7k2.exe file (the game's main executable). To install it, just replace your original 7k2.exe from the game directory with the one in the update. The 1.19 patch also works in the same manner as the 1.20 patch.

If you want to play the 1.12 version, just backup your ver. 1.12 7k2.exe before replacing it with the 1.20 version. You can use the ver. 1.12 7k2.exe when you want to play that version of the game.

Note: I have tested running the 1.20 and 1.19 versions of the game from 1.12 only (I haven't tried running the updated 7k2.exe from 1.10).

To the mods: Sorry if I resurrected an old thread. I just want to help out the original poster and any Seven Kingdom 2 player who happen to stumble upon this page (currently, this page is one of the top results in Google if you are looking for Seven Kingdom 2's 1.20 update).
