Hi,

This one must have been brought up before but I was thinking a good scoring bonus could be a peacekeeping functionality? Say if 2 Civs are at war and it's beneficial for you to have them at peace (IE you want them to vote for you in the UN and one of them is about to be wiped out ;) ) You could act as a peacekeeper and barter a deal between them perhaps? Or even go as far as offer your own money as an incentive for peace? Maybe a tech could initialise this ability and also because it is a legit "good deed" then you could get a nice bonus for it at the end of the game?

It's happening all the time in the world (Maybe not where it should be happening :mischief: ) so I think it would make a good function.

What does anyone else think?

Here's an idea:

Peacekeepers come under diplomacy. When traded with another civ, one of your defensive units disapears from the game and the trading partner enjoys imunity to civil unrest in one town.

1 units traded = 1 town secured.
3 units traded = 1 city secured.

It would take many units to keep the peace in an entire nation.

Both ideas are awesome. I'd love being able to keep the peace between two nations, especially if one is near being completely destroyed. You could join a coalition, or if you were attacking other nations, some could join a coalition against you, and they would be able to temporarily take over military control of your cities if they killed your defenses, then they could completely control all your cities for awhile until you promise to be good. lol. That'd be cool! They'd take over both nations and force you to sign a peace treaty for a long period of time that you couldn't break. Then they'd release back control of your cities to you.
