People with problems: On-board sound vs sound card

Just curious whether people having problems are using their onboard ac97 sound, or are using a card like the Audigy from Creative. I am thinking of going back to on-board sound since I never seemed to have the problems with games that I do these days.

My sound is fine, on-board. Intro movie skips but ingame is groovy. I am already just clicking past the movie now anyways.

sound card, nameley an Audigy 2. with latest driver from Creative. And NO i don't want to use onboardsound... i bought a sound card for a reason.

I have an Audigy2 sitting on the shelf, my motherboard doesn't like the card and causes horrible system failures when its installed. My onboard sound works great though, sounds good too.
