Permanent Resource Display

Okay, not sure if this is the right board to post on, but my problem is that the game is displaying the resources of each file permanently on the map. As in the attached image, each tile has bubbles on it that display the resources (e.g. production) of each tile, making the game a lot uglier. I have no idea how to turn it off; can anyone help me?

One of the buttons to the left of the minimap should open an a bit more advanced menu, where you can turn of resource icons, tile yields, the grid, etc.

Yes, the one that looks like a scroll to the left of the minimap allows you to turn such things on and off.
