phantom mod issues..

Okay I've now had two people mention my mod "Unique Balance" causing there game to have the large single units like what Kael did with his "Queen of the Icini". The only problem is there is nothing in my code referencing new animation art at ALL.

I have noticed that with some mod's disabling them doesn't necessarily make them go away and the only thing I can think of , though I'm not even sure it's possible, is that because my mod references Kael Civilization that somehow it's pulling in his whole mod if you have it installed. I'd love it if someone could tell me how to avoid this or if i can just safely ignore the issue because it not something my mod is doing.
 
Never mind. Apparently if any of the Civ5ArtDefines files are in your mod anywhere, even if you have no OnModActivated for them, or any other call, it still loads them. And apparently I never deleted them from my old "unused" folder from when i was thinking of trying to do unique animations for my mod. That.... annoys me greatly.
 
not funny... nor appreciated... from Firaxis...

I know I'm not the only one continually 'surprised' by their lack of foresight with regards to modding... considering all the promises of how 'modable' the game was going to be.

Sorry this happened with your mod, glad it was an easy fix... also yet another thing to make note of when we mod stuff.
