One of my terrace farms is currently producing 5/2/1. Not bad.

It's fun. If there are enough mountains and hills, you can run specialists while getting decent hammers too. National College+University+Observatory can happen in your capital surprisingly fast if you beeline the techs you need. Terrace farms being unavailable till construction slows you down a bit but I find if you beeline writing and build/buy the library and then build the NC, you can detour down to get construction and maybe iron working and still get to education and then astronomy fairly quickly. Of course, you'll be way behind the AI in cities and they seem to build a lot post-patch. I'm greatly enjoying no movement costs in hills too. It makes the warrior scout almost as fast as a scout on a highlands map. Inca is fun, if the map plays to their advantages.
