Currently I'm playing as Raven in Civ 6:

I think this is also my most favorite civ and leader in the game. Hungarian civ fits my general gameplay strategy perfectly, because even when playing as other civs I would end up hiring mercenaries from city states anyway because in the early game I can't afford to produce even more than just 1 or 2 military units.
The game was great, I was able to wipe out the Egypt using only mercenaries, then the Cree with Black Army and some mercenaries, then Georgia through really bloody and time consuming wars (the first war of that series was initiated by Georgian civ under the form of an emergency coalition when other civs of the world united to liberate a city captured by me previously - the hardest war I have ever fought since first playing the game) with many of my units and several other mercenaries.
I was able to befriend Gilgamesh and then formed an ally with his Civ (Sumeria), he assisted me in wars as well as in World Congress solutions, our friendship lasted nearly 200 turns. As a show of gratitude for our long and eventful friendship, I cut all ties with him, denounced and then stabbed him in the back. In just 5 turns, I have already brought him to his knees, razed 2 of his cities and captured 4 of his last cities. I also didn't forget to pillage all of his juicy Ziggurats , which net me like 4500 gold (those ziggurats would disappear right away before I could loot them right when I captured the cities which they belonged to, because you are not allowed to keep unique tile improvements built by other civs).
I think that makes a truly epic and moving story about true friendship.
Moral of the story: Gilgamesh is the single biggest piggy bank in the game if he appears as a civ in your game.
