Pirate ships the best unit ever?

In multiplayer pirate ships are the best unit in the game, the ability to stomp around the seas sinking all before you! I send mine out in packs of 3

I play with mates on skype, and its great listening to them curse as another of their ships goes to the bottom. Im so good at saying " that wasn't my pirate ship" I almost convince myself.

Top units, you can attack your mates without declaring war!

Nukes are more fun to use in MP. You can completely mess up a civs infrastructure with one well placed nuke. And against humans, it really pisses them off and scares them.

yeah, but with pirate ships you can sink everything that moves and they dont know it was you.

I derive great pleasure from sinking my allies ships and blaming another computer player!
