[Pir] Pirates is now on the iPad!

Sid meier's pirates hit the ipad app store yesterday. It is awesome and only cost $3.99. I looks wonderful and plays just like on my big desktop pc.

I have been playing the heck out of it on my iPad2! This may be my favorite version, if only because my aging hands don't have to push a mouse around.

But I have a question about it. Is there a "Hall of Fame" containing all the pirates you've played? I retired my first guy, but I can't find him in any of the game's lists of achievements. I do see a list of "Top 10 Pirates" in my current game, but that seems limited to this current game; it doesn't contain my retired guy. The game does have a "Leaderboard," but that's simply a list of all GameCenter players, ranked by their maximum plunder (whatever that is). Is there a way I can see a list of every pirate I've created, and each pirate's finishing score?

Thanks for your reply. Maybe it just didn't make it into this version. Wouldn't seem like the hardest thing to code, but who knows.

I'm also stumped by my current quest in the Path of Revenge. I successfully bombarded Curacao, but that apparently didn't qualify as a "medium or large city protected by a warship." What did I do wrong?

That must be different in the iPad. In the PC game, to win revenge, you need to collect the pieces of a map to the Marquis de Montalbon's hideout (he's the man who has your family in bondage) as you rescue your family members. Once you collect all the map pieces, you have to use the landmarks it gives you to track him down, and beat him in a swordfight. That's all I know, sorry.

This is the first reason I've heard to have an ipad.

So is there a keypad on the side of the screen for fencing and dancing?
