Pitboss problem...

When I host a Pitboss game, I can no longer log into Internet Multiplayer from my Civ4 game. Is this because I'm using the same gamespy ID to host the Pitboss game, and to try to join the multiplayer interface? Maybe it thinks I'm logged in twice or something... which I guess technically I am.

Is this intended? Do I need to host the game on a different computer? Do I need to create a second Gamespy ID to use for hosting Pitboss games?

I've confirmed that if I create a second Gamespy ID and create my PitBoss game using that, I can log in to the Multiplayer interface with my usual ID and play in my game. It's a bit annoying that I have to have a dummy account, but at least the work-around is simple.
