Hey, I'm Mike, I've been developing playyourdamnturn.com, a GMR clone (hotseat PBEM manager) for Civ 6. I think there's a couple people on these boards who have been using it, and one of them pointed me over here to ask for some help.
One thing that's really frustrating about the site right now is that we don't have a turn timer. It was actually one of the first things I tried to implement, and I've got the functionality on my side basically working, but there seems to be a bug in Civ 6 that prevents it from working - whenever you set a player from Human to AI and then back to Human, the game gets stuck in "Please Wait" mode. To reproduce:
- Create a hotseat game with all player slots set to Human.
- Play a turn or two, save the game, and exit back to the main menu.
- Load the game, and change the current player to AI (to "skip" them), play the next player's turn, save the game, and exit back to the main menu.
- Load the game, change the AI player back to human, and when you go to play the next player's turn the game will be stuck in please wait mode.
