Playing Multiplayer Mods

I dont know if i'm missing something obvious but is it possible to play mods in multiplayer mode? It doesn't have to be online against strangers i just like to play with some slight configurations with a friend.

If it happens to be no way to load up mods on multiplayer can the lcal XML files be edited (by host or mabye by both players) to sucesfully "mod" mutiplayer?

hopefully there's just some way to turn on mods in mutli i'm missing

I would love this option as well, It would give us a new look at the game and make things more interesting instead of playing the same stuff over and over.....If anyone knows what needs to be edited in the XML, please let me know!

I don't know if there is a way to play online (simultaneous turns) games with mods, but it is possible to play modded multiplayer games with sequential turns using the Giant Multiplayer Robot when starting and loading the game using Custom Advanced Setup Screen.

I would love to able to play modded multiplayer games. Alas, not such luck so far.
