Please help me fix my Java thingy!

Guess I should have been more specific.
I always get to this part, and still do after downloading that, and it never goes any further.

Use a normal client:

mIRC
xChat
Pidgin

The first two have a trial period, and Pidgin is fully free

mIRC: I AM NOT PAYING TO CHAT! AND I'VE TRIED IT AND IT DOESN'T WORK ANYWAY, BECAUSE #FIFTYCHAT IS NOT IN THE CHANNEL LIST, AND WHEN I JOIN #FIFTYCHAT I GO TO AN EMPTY CHANNEL, LIKE I'M NOT ON THE RIGHT SERVER! NO!

xChat: NO WAY! THIS PROGRAM WAS INTENDED FOR PORNO WEBCAMS! NO!

Pidgin: YAY IT WORKS, THANKS! YES!

That would be because you didnt spend less than 5 minutes configuring it. Plus, you might have possibly joined vos.irc-chat.net which is still broken.

In case you still want to fix the Java version...

My first guess is your Firewall blocked it.

Otherwise, click Start Menu | Settings | Control Panel | Java
Advanced tab
Expand Java Console node
Select Show Console
Press OK

With that the Java Console will appear. There might be debug messages that help us find out what was wrong.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!:aargh:
Pidgin stopped working, can't figure out why. It can't connect to irc.irc-chat.net for some reason. And here's what the Java console said:

Did you change anything, install anything or things as such?

And did you try reinstalling Pidgin?

And your idea and my idea both didn't work. :P
I can think of NO OTHER WAY to use it. (don't even mention Chatzilla, it's so weird).
Oh, and I DID try xChat (the real one) and it is too complicated for me to figure out.
Please, after Pidgin helped me I started to enjoy #fiftychat again!
