Yes, but the photos show that the pedestrian barrier part of the bridge seems to be intact on both sides. It should have gone through one side or the other.

What does that have to do with anything?
Ah, I understand... just more proselytizing by a religious fanatic.Masquerouge said:Well you know, that whole misestimation thing that Creationists are prone to, the Earth 6,000 years old blah blah.

Birdjaguar said:I would guess that the boom hit the bridge below the rail and then poped up through the decking as it was dragged along and stopped before it could go through the rail on the exit side. The concrete below the rail is much thicker than that in the middle of the bridge.
Birdjaguar said:It appears to me that in the two pictures taken from below the bridge the direction of travel was from right to left. In the picture taken from the top of the bridge it was from left to right.
Masquerouge said:That's what we've been saying in the last couple of posts, I believe.
I believe that the shovel is attached to the "right" arm in the picture taken on the bridge and to the "left" arm in the other two. I'll look for a different track hoe picture.ChrTh said:That's not possible though. Look at the angle that the arm is making in each picture, the pov is from the same side in each pic.
I think what's throwing people off in the 3rd pic is the unbroken barrier: but it's unbroken in all pics. And to the left isn't a break, it's debris.
