I have to use IE to post this cos I dont know what to do.

In Firefox I was looking at a site and I accidentally clicked on a bad link and this dialog popped up saying that my computer has malware. so I killed the firefox process. However, now whenever I reopen it, it restores the tabs and the message pops up again. How do I prevent it from restoring the tabs????? the only things I can find are changing settings & I cant do that cos it'll restore and the dialog will pop up and I dont want to get infected. Thanks.

EDIT: I was thinking theres probably some file in the profile that has the session that i can delete but I dont know where it is.

Nevermind. i opened it up again (i think 3rd of 4th time) and it showed the "embarrassing" mesage so all is fine now :)

If that happens again use System Restore to wind back to your last good install.

For the next time ... In the folder where your Firefox settings are stored, are there files called "sessionstore.js" and "sessionstore.bak"? If so, I would try to remove those.
