It is a little interesting to se that over 40 % of the people have been playing civ since 1996. And then almost the same at the rest of the years!

But it is just 50 people that have posted their answer so far. So maybe you should not relied on it to much regarding the number of longtime players and the short time players.

correct, because the veterans are proud they play so long and vote. the new players dont care about the vote and dont vote. i am actually disappointed the question isnt: how long have you been playing civ? then i would answer since 1992
