Pollution editor?

Is there any way to edit a saved game file to slow down/stop global warming? Is there any tool to do this, or anything I can do in game to slow down this effect? As it stands right now, anywhere from between 5 to 15 squares of forest are dissappearing every turn.

Several of the AIs have been tossing nukes around just about every turn and the sun has turned red. I'm in the modern age, and while I'm tempted to just give up and start a new one, I really want to play this one out.

I posted this question before in the Utility program forums, but got no response. It may be that there isn't a way to do this, and if thats the case then I apologize for asking again.

No, there isn't a way unfortunately. Nukes cause pollution, and you're feeling the effects of it.
