I am currently wondering what everyone feels is the best path to take with your civ. Everytime I go population tech I usually get out produced and attacked. The weird thing is you would think with a higher population you would get much higher rates of return on your tech. For example if you have a 1,000,000 pop and your opponent has 500,000 pop and you have the same amount of libraries why is it you aren't out teching twice as fast? Why is it that u only get 1 beaker per citizen insead of 1 beaker per 50,000 citizens? I think it makes the production strategy the only way to go. Does anyone else feel as though civ 5 is biased in this way? I would enjoy some feedback on this topic.
