As you know, Xenforo has introduced two editors - Rich Text Editor, as well as BBCode Editor. I've used the former, and in all honesty, it's kinda a bother to use, especially in posts with heavy formatting, as it tends to break them. Is it possible to add more functionality to the BBCode Editor, making it work like the old vBulletin editor?

I asked this back in October and was told there were other things more important that needed to be addressed. I'd be interested in hearing if this is something that can now be pursued.

I second this: for example, ever since the move, I've been typing {SPOILER}{/SPOILER} tags in manually, because I only just now found (while posting this) the now-kind-of-hidden 'Insert: Spoiler' button  and there's still no easy/obvious way to insert/format a table. While Tables may not be used by CFCers very often, sometimes they are the clearest/ most practical way to display large amounts of similar information (e.g. unit stats and abilities for mods) -- so adding an 'Insert: Table' button to that menu would also be good, if that's possible?

Especially since the old BBcode table-tags {TABLE}{/TABLE} no longer work (properly): they now cause the tabulated information to acquire an extraneous auto-boldface row 'Column 1, Column 2, Column 3...' above the intended column-headers (which are then non-boldface)*. I eventually discovered (by experiment) that the Table-tags now need to be {TABLE=head}{/TABLE} for the formatting to look as the poster (me) intended, but a button to do it automatically would be much preferred.

Spoiler :
All tables inserted into pre-Xenforo posts now have this problem: How time-consuming would it be for a Mod/Admin to find/change this in older posts, at least those which are still consulted regularly, such as in strategy/tips etc.?

Sadly, way too long. I spent much of a weekend fixing formatting (including table formatting) in Civ 5 War Academy articles. To do that for all of Civ 5 S&T (much less the S&T forums for earlier games)? There's not enough time in the world.

I heavily concour. I use BBC tags for most of my posting as I find the rich text editor to be cumbersome and frustrating when I am doing anything more complicated than simply italicizing or bolding. On BBCcode, I would love the abilities to click on a button to create some of the more complex tags, just like in the vbulliten days.
