Hey fellow Civfanatics,
I've been a player and somewhat embarrassingly, a lurker as well for some time. I see that the current trend within the scope of Civilization V seems to be more participatory stories with players actively helping shape the story. I'm not at all opposed to this, but rather I wished to see everybody's current perspective on me potentially playing and documenting a Civilization V game in the ways of zeeterus or Vanadorn.
If you're not entirely certain of the names, head to the Civilization III stories forum and acquaint yourself. They've taken the game of Civilization and wound compelling stories, character development and textbook flavor into something never thought possible. I was hoping to emulate this with a game of my own, but would rather probe the active viewers to find their interest, as I've little desire to write a story and post screenshots for self-enjoyment.
Let me know your thoughts and I'll gratefully comment on them.
Thank you!
